Robert Francis (1984 series)
Reading from his Collected Poems, 1936-1976, Robert Francis introduces us to the trees and animals that live around him, reflects on the dangers that threaten them, and recalls a former neighbor who seemed “so much a part of the earth that he looked as if he’d been in it.”

Robert Francis (1986 series)
Reading from that same volume and from Late Fire, Late Snow, Francis invites us into his three-room, one-story home on a snowy morning, then out among the woods and hills of Amherst. “Home,” he says, “is this little house in which I live. And much beyond it.”
